On behalf of our entire faculty and staff, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning families. Heading into our new school year our mission at Saint Stans is to continue to provide a rich academic environment grounded in Catholic values and beliefs. Today, more than ever, these values are vital to helping children grow to become people of faith, friendship, knowledge, responsibility and service. We appreciate your commitment and sacrifice to give your child a Catholic school education. We also appreciate your ongoing support of St. Stanislaus Kostka School.
We continue with our highly personalized pre-school located adjacent to our main building and secure playground. Our full day kindergarten is located next to our playground and adjacent to our main building.
Grades 6, 7, and 8 will follow a traditional middle school model this year. Each grade will have their own homeroom. Teachers will deliver instruction in their specialty area. This structure will allow for two study hall/academic support periods each week and collaboration between teachers. As a former middle school teacher and Principal, I am very enthusiastic and supportive of this model. I look forward to working with the teachers to enhance and expand this model.
I hope you will join us for many of the activities and events we have planned for this year such as Meet the Teacher Night. This will give you an opportunity to meet with teachers and learn about expectations and procedures for the new school year. Working together is the best way to ensure academic success for your child.
